The cancer story
In 2015 I was diagnosed with stage 3 thymoma. I did the chemotherapy and the radiation they asked for. In 2020 — the day we emptied the last box after a move — an ER doctor told me I had stage 4 terminal cancer. I took that to the Lord in prayer. I held the words: I will not die, but I will live and declare the works of the Lord.
By 2022 I was cancer-free, on the integrative and lifestyle path I have already published. I am Cancer Thriver Owen. I built Beat Cancer With Me so patients and caregivers can find virtual support, a prayer call, and doctors. This site is the personal side. I am a committed family man and a man of deep Christian faith. I have written and produced viral Christian sermon illustrations and apologetics, and I still earn royalties from that work. I spoke at the Modern Church Leader Conference 2024 as Owen Video — YouTube marketing consultant and host of the Business of Video Podcast.

After being struck with stage four cancer, Owen became well known as a health influencer who beat his disease using alternative and non-toxic therapies. He now owns Acceleratus Media, which specializes in video and brand building for doctors, lawyers, real estate professionals, and other life-changing industries.
